How to Join a BAF Member Organisation and become a BAF Registrant.

Registration to BAF is open to any Individual qualified acupuncture practitioner who is a member of a BAF registered organisation.

Each group has various criteria for joining and some organisations only allow members who have qualified from their own course to become a member of their organisation. 

Association Membership Requirements
Acupuncture Association
A Degree or Diploma from a BAF recognised Acupuncture College (see above for list).
Association of Acupuncture Clinicians
Any Degree Level/Lic. Ac. Qualification
Association of Five-Element Acupuncture
Any five-element practitioners who hold a Lic. Ac. Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner of TCM and attend and pass the admission interview; and – 1. possess qualifications in one or more aspects of TCM to a standard acceptable to the Association. OR 2. qualified in western medicine and TCM training to a standard acceptable to the Association.
British Academy Western Medical Acupuncture
Only offered to qualified practitioners of the BAWMA course.
Chinese Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Alliance
A Degree or Diploma from a BAF recognised Acupuncture College (see above for list) or a proof of previous membership to the ATCM or an equivalent TCM association.
Chinese Medical Institute and Register
A Degree or Diploma from a BAF recognised Acupuncture College (see above for list).
Eastern Medicine Association
A Degree or Diploma from a BAF recognised Acupuncture College (see above for list).
Fu’s Subcutaneous Needling Association Europe
Only Offered to Qualified Practitioners of the FSNAE course.
Japanese Acupuncure Association
Open to any Member with a Qualification in Japanese Acupuncture or Related Modality.
Microsystem Acupuncture Society
Open to Qualified Practitioners of Auricular and Micro-systems Acupuncture.
